Shri Sanjay Sethi has taken over as the Chairman of JNPT on 3rd January 2019. Shri Sethi is an IAS Officer of Maharashtra Cadre of the 1992 batch. He did his Masters in Economics from London School of Economics. He was the Additional Municipal Commissioner Projects in the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai MCGM prior to this appointment. Shri Sanjay Sethi brings with him 26 years of experience at senior levels in Government of Maharashtra and Government of India. Some of the other key portfolios Shri Sethi held are CEO - Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation MIDC Additional Metropolitan Commissioner - MMRDA Secretary and Development Commissioner Industries Department Government of Maharashtra Municipal Commissioner of Thane and Nagpur and Managing Director Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co. Ltd. He had been entrusted with the responsibility of Mega Projects like Mumbai Metro Coastal Road Urban Projects of Water Supply and Sewerage among others. He has also led the investment promotion and implementation of industrial infrastructure projects.
Shri Anil Shamrao Ramteke is an officer from Indian Railway Stores Services [IRSS:90]. He is Electrical Engineer from Visveswaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur and did his Master of Technology in Controls and Instrumentation from Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai.
He worked as Electrical Engineer in Oil and Natural Gas Commission in Oil Exploration Projects, Mumbai. He has a vast experience in working with Indian Railways. He has undergone Training in &amp;ldquo;Advanced Strategic Management&amp;quot; at INSEAD, Graduate Business School for the World at Singapore and ICLIF, Leadership and Governance Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Shri Jaiwant Bhimrao Dhawale took charge as, Chief ManagerAdmn Secretary, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust on March 14, 2018. Prior to this role, he was holding the post of Secretary, Mormugao Port Trust, where he joined in 1994 as, Labour Officer. He comes with 25 years of service in various capacities. Shri Sunilkumar Madabhavi is a Graduate Civil Engineer and also completed M.Tech. from NIT K, Surathkal. Joined the Port Services in Mumbai Port Trust as Asst. Executive Engineer in 1987. Worked as Deputy Chief Engineer in New Mangalore Port Trust from 2003 to 2013. In 2013, appointed as Chief Engineer, Chennai Port Trust. He is also in charge of Andaman Lakshadweep Harbour Works as Chief Engineer Administrator since September 2015. Joined Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust as Chief Manager Port Planning Development Department in September 2016. He has vast experience in Marine Construction works and Port infrastructure. He has contributed towards several projects of National importance in Major Ports of India and Islands of Andaman, Nicobar Lakshadweep.
Capt. Amit Kapoor has joined JNPT as its Deputy Conservator in July 2016. Before joining JNPT, he was working as Deputy Conservator, in V.O. Chidambaranar Port Trust, Tuticorin. He has also served in Paradip Port Trust as Pilot and Dock Master. Capt. Amit Kapoor is a Master Mariner (Foreign Going) and had earlier commanded Shipping Corporation of India ships during his sailing days. He has wide experience in shipping and other related activities in the Port Sector. He belongs to the 1979-80 batch of Training Ship " Rajendra " and has spent his entire sailing career with the Shipping Corporation of India.
Mr. Niteen M. Borwankar has taken charge as the Chief Manager MEE, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust on 4th May 2018.Mr. Niteen M. Borwankar is Marine Engineer from DMET Kolkatta and is MOT 1st Class Chief Engineer.Before joining Port Sector he has worked in Shipping National Institute of Ocean Technology, Chennai. Before Joining JNPT he was holding the post of Chief Mechanical Engineer in Mumbai Port Trust, Deendayal Port Trust, and Cochin Port Trust.
He has joined in Indian Revenue Services in 2002.
As an Assistant Commissioner in Central Excise and Customs, Jalgaon, Maharashtra in the
year 2002 to 2004.
As a Deputy Director and Additional Director, DRI Ahmedabad, he has the experience of
intelligence gathering and detecting various instances of commercial fraud, detected
Customs duty evasion as well as smuggling activities on various fields.

He worked as Additional Commissioner CGST (Vadodara). Before joining current

Before joining IRS, worked as Tehsildar in Government of Maharashtra and Assistant
Commandant Railway Protection Force.
He has varied experience in the field of Policy formulation; intelligence gathering with regard
to national security issues and taxation and legal issues.
