Gateway Awards - JNPT recognized for its excellenceJNPT has been bestowed with ‘Container Port of The Year’ at The Gateway Awards 2018 for The improvement in operational flow and performance efficiency achieved in The financial year 2017-18. Initiatives were undertaken to achieve higher levels of productivity and growth across all operations in The port including enhancement of soft and hard infrastructure to provide seamless cargo movement. Shri Neeraj Bansal, Chairman-in-Charge was also honored with ‘Indian Maritime Personality of The Year’ award for his significant contribution towards JNPT for making The organization customer-driven and achieving significant growth on a year-on-year basis. |

Hindi Pakhawada - Bringing national language closerTo promote The official language, create awareness and as part of The ongoing initiatives, JNPT Organized Hindi Pakhwada for employees, Their families and school children along with various training programs, competitions, workshops at JNPT township. JNPT Organized Hindi Pakhwada between September 1st – 15th, 2018. During this fortnight, poetry recitation, essay writing, Hindi typing, extempore elocution competition, letter writing, story writing, such like 9 competitions were conducted by JNPT. |

Swachh Bharat Pakhawada- Cleanliness is next to Godliness
With a view to maintain and promote cleanliness in and around JNPT, The premier port observed Ministry of Shipping’s initiative of ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ at JNPT by undertaking various initiatives. The entire Program lasted from 15th Sept – 2nd Oct 2018. JNPT is encouraging all its employees to ensure regular cleanliness and Shramadan for a clean environment and better sanitation. During this Pakhwada, JNPT Organized various cleanliness activities to maintain a healthy culture at all levels. |
